Each storm brings unique challenges. Weather and road conditions change by the minute and deliveries cannot be guaranteed because of problems like mandatory evacuations, road closures, and possible driver shortages, etc.

Home Delivery Delays
Depending on where you live, home deliveries may be delayed due to mandatory evacuations, but not all areas will experience service disruptions equally.

We strongly encourage you NOT to cancel or refuse your order because you will incur a Return Order Fee which could cost hundreds of dollars.

If your power happens to come back on before your generator arrives, you are lucky. However, storms and power outages can be unpredictable, so we encourage you to have at least an emergency backup to protect yourself from another extended power outage.

By retaining your order, your generator will be delivered, and you'll be ready for the next outage.

 

Picking Up at a Freight Terminal
If you ordered a generator that shipped freight and you want to pick it up from the local terminal, you must contact the freight carrier first.

Note: You must call the freight carrier first to arrange a pickup. Generators are not stocked at shipping terminals. All generators will ship from one of our warehouses before they arrive at the local freight terminal. You will need to bring a photo ID that matches the name on the order to receive your generator.

 

Order an In-Stock Generator

We prepare before the season by stocking our warehouse and distribution centers so that we can get your products on the road and on their way to you.

To get the power you need promptly, you will need to select a generator that is in stock.

 

Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping is only available on generators that ship via ground. These tend to be inverter generators and if in stock, can ship Next-Day, or 2nd-Day Air.

Please Note: Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable and delivery times are not guaranteed. We will get the products out the door and into the hands of the delivery service. They will make every effort to deliver on time, but circumstances may cause a delay like government-issued evacuations, flight groundings, and road closures.

Already Placed an Order?

If you've already placed an order, you will begin receiving shipping notifications from either FedEx or a Freight Carrier. The weight of the generator will determine this difference, and whether it was in stock at the time it was ordered.
 
After your order loads onto a truck, you will receive an email with a tracking number that allows you to track your shipment.
 
If your shipment arrives at a freight terminal but cannot be shipped directly to its final destination, you may have an option to pick it up at the freight terminal.
