Product QuestionsAnswered by Jared, the Generator Expert
Will the W10PTOS work with my Kubota B2370 (rated for 17HP at rear PTO)?

Answer
The standard sizing for a PTO generator is 2HP for every 1kW of generator power. Based on this formula the 10kW unit will not work with your generator and the largest generator your tractor would be able to handle is 8.5kW. At this time the smallest PTO generator we offer is the 10kW unit.

With most 10kW and 15kW PTO driven generators driven at 540 RPM PTO and the Winco 10 and 15kW units driven at 515 RPM PTO, does that mean I could run my Kubota 38 h.p. at a lower RPM for the Winco to operate at full capacity or would my Kubota still have to still run at about the same RPM's as the 540 RPM PTO generators? What would be the difference in the rpm's between the two with my tractor for them to maintain the same load?

Answer
There is a possibility you would run your tractor at a lower RPM. However, we would not know what your tractor RPM would need to be running at to produce the proper RPM at your PTO. It is suggested that you contact the tractor manufacturer to find out what RPM the engine needs to run at to have the PTO operate at 515 RPM.
