Can I plug this into my RV and will it provide 240 volt or 120 volt?

Answer
Thanks for your inquiry.

I assume the RV has a 50 amp cord (NEMA L14-50) on it that you are plugging into the 50amp to 30amp adapter (55422). The 30amp adapter has a L14-30 plug on it. A L14-30 plug will have 240V across the hots, as will your L14-50 plug on the RV.

You will have 240V entering the 50 amp RV as you normally would, but normally the 240V is split into two circuits at 120V in the RV panel.

I recommend you check with the manufacturer of the RV to make sure it is wired to accept this type of adapter.
