Never Worked From The Beginning
Coil burnt up few minutes after hook up!I Found one limit switch has broken return spring. When I looked over ats after it failed and is probably what caused coil problem. But no one at Generac is informed enough or care enough to try to help. They got the last of my money and time!
Cons: Low Quality, Unreliable, Expensive

Very sorry to hear you experienced issues with your ATS. We always suggest using a Generac installer for your installations. A issues like this should have been identified by the installer prior to installing the switch. I would suggest working with a local Generac dealer in your area to see if this will be covered under your warranty.

We're sorry to learn of your frustrating experience. To ensure your safety, as well as the proper installation of your purchased products, we always recommend working with an independent authorized dealer in your local area. Please know that due to liability and electrical safety concerns, it is difficult for us to provide electrical wiring assistance over the phone. Not being able to inspect the unit in person makes it all the more difficult to determine the cause of your current issues from a remote location. As independent authorized dealers have completed our certified training courses, they are able to not only provide expert assistance when it comes to installing your backup power system, but also any warranty coverage that applies to your configuration. For help determining the issue at hand and the warranty coverage that applies to your setup, we would recommend contacting an independent authorized dealer in your local area. To locate a dealer online, click here: Otherwise, we'd be happy to find one for you if/when you call us directly at 888-GENERAC (436-3722). We do apologize for any inconvenience this initial experience may have caused.
