I'm going to buy a generac 6244 and want to know if the mounting pad OG6619ASRV will serve the purpose

Answer
All of the Generac home standby generators from 8 - 20kW all come with the composite mounting pad already installed. Model 0G6619ASRV is a replacement composite pad.
You will need to use either concrete, crushed stone or pea gravel (Min 4" thickness) for a solid base for the generator to sit on.
We do offer the GenPad which is a preformed concrete pad to place the generator on instead of pouring your own concrete.....here is the link to review the pad....
