Winco HPS12000HE - 10,800 Watt TriFuel Generator w/ Electric Start Honda Engine

Good ordering experience. I didn't get a shipping notification but it arrived on time. Shipping company was great. They left the box on top of a wood frame and it made very easy to put on the dolly/wheels.

The manual didn't have a picture where gas tank valve is. It is hidden under the tank - hard to see. this cost me a day to figure out why engine won't start. I don't like products with bad manuals. Why not try to make your customer's life easier? Did you ever install one yourself and think hard what is missing in the doc?

I still cannot get natural gas to work yet. It may be my gas pressure low but I need to figure it out. If you have to use natural gas, check out if you have enough pressure first. Winco tech says it should not be the problem.

Bought online from Electric Generators Direct. Easy transaction and paid by check saving me $69. Chose the free lift gate delvery option. Glad I did. This thing weighs a "ton" (407Lbs to be exact).

The semi shows up at the drive way. The driver gets out his portable hydraulic fork lift and literally delivers it to my garage. He was extremely nice to the kids and even let them help. Very good & friendly service.

Generator comes in a card board box sitting on a wood pallet. It has the wheel kit in a dedicated box within the main box. You need to be able to lift the thing to assemble the wheel kit. A floor jack and some 2x4's help. Once assembled it rolls relatively easy.

I recommend that you buy the cable with the plug if you plan on using the 60 Amp connection. I found out that Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware in my area do not carry any plugs higher than 50A. This has delayed my ability to test its full functionality.

Engine comes with no oil in it. You'll need to add 5W-30 or 10W-30 depending on temps. There is a tag reminding you it's empty. The book, after some extensive searching, tells you it take 1.5Qts. I added that much and I slightly exceeded the max line. I gues I am learning the capacities. It comes with an oil filter and not sure if that would make up the slightly extra.

Once I fully test it I'll update or add a review. On touching the unit it definately has some heavy duty qualities to it. So far I recommend it highly but stay tuned.
