| Winco 25kw PTO Generator - Excellent! |

I ran my Winco 25kw PTO generator 9 days straight, 16 hours a day, using my 22hp John Deere 425 AWS mower that has a 540 PTO output. Everything worked perfectly! Couldn't be more happy.
Volts and hertz on my digital VOM (I'm an electrician) held steady. I ran the furnace, 3 refreigerators & freezers, 1 hp well pump, microwave, 2 burners on the electric stove, electric water heater, TV, and computer. The kids didn't even know we were out of power until we turned it off for overnight. Winco did it right!
I've got 3 customers who all bought a 27kw Northern Tool PTO generator and they all thought they'd saved a few dollars compared to my Winco; but I've had to replace 2 of their well pump motors that burned out due to the very poor voltage regulation of the Northern generator.
One of these farmers used his Northern PTO generator to power his air compressor to re-inflate a tire on his combine out in the field and had to replace the compressor motor a few weeks later. They found out that you get what you pay for.
Now they want to get new Winco's and the dealer won't take their Chinese generators in on trade, and you can't blame him. These Chinese generators are not built near heavy enough to start motors of any size.
Pay a little more and get a good, reliable American made generator that will do the job when you need it most. |
