 Nice Unit

I wanted a portable generator, small-mid sized, for the infrequent power outages that we have. I also wanted a unit that did not use a Chinese made engine. It was between the Subaru, a slightly larger Generac and a comparably sized Honda. The Generac was back-ordered until December, the Honda was about the same price but the price did not include the WAY overpriced wheel set. So I bought the Subaru.

It took about 15 minutes to put the unit together, put oil in sump, gas in tank. started on first pull. Tested it by running a large shopvac and a hair dryer at the same time. ... more
