 Subaru RGV13100T - 10,000 Watt Electric Start Generator (208V - 3-Phase) Review

This is an industrial generator so you need to know what you are doing. WOW. I was especially surprised by how quiet it was. I have a 6kw Colman (home unit) that is 5+ times louder.

I have used the RGV13100T for camping at cabin with almost continuous 60 hr runs. Using two legs with the correct plug you can use as 220v for home power but you lose 33% of the output, it would be a lot to pay for home back-up use only.

The hour meter makes it easy to keep up with service. I have 4 generators including a Honda 2kw, the Honda 2kw is the only one quieter than this bru... more

WARNING: This is a special 3 phase generator for commercial use only. Do NOT buy this as a home standby model or if you don't need 3 phase power. If you need 3 phase power, this is what you need. It's a little workhorse :-)
