Q: Is there an extension/accessories to send exhaust out of the garage or should the generator be put outside in the elements?

A: We don't recommend putting any generator indoors - even in open garages.

Here's what can happen if you do:

How to Prevent Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

First, use your house as wind breaker. Put your generator on the driest side protected from the wind.

You can also put a shelter over it. However, it needs to breathe. Don't box it in or use anything that can catch on fire.
