Honda 30 Amp 120 Volt Transfer Switch
This was the only place I could find one to hook up to my 2 Honda 2000i s. Works good. Was a tight fit for all the wires through the 3/4 conduit, so I ran two separate conduit since I all had to run 2 more neutral wires though it to accommodate the required NEC Arc fault breakers which I purchased separately. Pricey. I also had to purchase an adapter with RV male plug to 30 amp twist lock female for the cord. Like it so far. Watt meters hard to read at low levels.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast, Reliable, I'd Buy It Again
Cons: Bad Instructions

Quality Switch - Poor Instructions
We received the switch in a timely manner. All of the components were as they should have been and seem to be of quality parts.

I had originally purchased the Reliance six circuit switch, not knowing it would not work for my application. "Honda" (though this is not actually a Honda switch - just has a "Honda" sticker on it) would really do it's customers a great service to adopt an intuitive, laymen friendly instruction manual/video, similar to what Reliance has done... more

Works For Me
I have a Yamaha EF3000is. It is strictly a 120 volt generator (i.e not a 120/240) so I needed a 120 volt transfer switch to hook up my generator to my house in the event of a power outage.

Even though it is described as a Honda transfer switch, it is made by Gen - Tran. In the description it is also described as a 6 circuit switch. Because Gen - Tran uses regular circuit breakers in the construction of the unit, it can be reconfigured to up to 10 circuit breakers. In my... more

Fast Shipping And Easy Install
Received this a few days after my order. The installation instructions could have been a little better, but overall, it wasn't difficult. It took me roughly 4 hours to get everything done. Also, while buying wire and accessories, I had 3 certified electricians tell me this is a top rated product. Highly recommended!!
Pros: High Quality, I'd Buy It Again
Cons: Bad Instructions, Expensive
