Works As Advertised
The following day after installation we lost power for 4 hours. Generator worked flawlessly. 8KW unit/w 100amp circuit.
Would recommend this setup to all my friends.

Used Once Worked Great
I have the 8000 watt Briggs home standby generator. I only lost power for 20 minutes and the unit turned on and off with little interruption. I have a 250 gallon propane tank. It is set to go on for 20 minutes once a week and have had it for 12 months, my propane tank is still full!! I'm not to sure how long, with continuous operation, the tank will last. I do, however, have piece of mind if anything would interrupt my utility power. So far I am so glad I have this unit.
Pros: Easy To Use, Price, Reliable, I'd Buy It Again

Joseph,
While running the weekly exercise cycle the unit doesn't consume very much fuel since there is no load on the generator and while in operation the unit uses the following amounts of LP fuel...

LP Consumption (50% Load) 1.04 gallons/hr (BTU: 94,380 BTU/HR)
LP Consumption (100% Load) 1.57 gallons/hr (BTU: 142,478 BTU/HR)
