Absoultely gorgeous construction, very well made. Comes with a pre-installed long pigtail of wires out of the bottom of the unit, each wire is color coded and labeled with the circuit letter corresponding with the switch on the front panel. The only really hard part was getting all the wires into the 3/4 inch conduit that comes with the switch--there was bareley enough room to get all the wires through, and then I had to get them through the elbows and bends to get it into the main house panel. I suggest you just go with the next size lager conduit and make life easy for yourself.
Wiring the unit to the breakers was really easy, follow the instructions and you'll be fine. Also, Reliance has a set of installation videos at http://www.reliancecontrols.com/Stream/ProTranInstall/ProTranPlayer_DSL.aspx I'm totally happy with this unit, the power failed only a week after I put it in and I was able to get the fridge up and running without having to traipse power cords through the house. The built-in watt meters came in handy for letting me know how much headroom I had left on the generator after the fridge and freezer were on-line. The LA City inspector had no issues with it when I got the permit finalized.
