Q: My 3,200 watt/4000 watt surge generator has a receptacle for a L5-30 120Volt 30amp twist lock. It has 3 prongs. Do you have a transfer box with those requirements. I saw a L5-20 transfer box but I don't think that is large enough, it says max. watt 2,500. Well it work? Or do you have one that works for this generator?

A: This model is for 20A 3-Prong outlet only and would not work for a generator with a L5-30 120V 30A receptacle. You would want to select a 30A 3-Prong (120V only) Power Inlet Box such as model 53004.
