| Pretty well pleased |

This is a great generator--we have used it on weekends out at our deer camp cabin for a whole year now.
This generator can run 10 to 12 hours at a time with no problems, so far it has been extremely reliable.
The electric start makes SUCH a difference, I had been reluctant to pay the extra money but even my wife can start it!
That said, I have to rate it one star below perfect. These are small things, but the price is certainly a balance to these. The oil change is a hassle due to the location of the drain, no dip stick, which wouldn't have been any expense, and one tire didn't hold air very well.
The only major concern was that the battery is weak in the cold weather. Any battery gets weak in the cold, but this one probably isn't top of the line, so I have replaced it already. Once the temp gets above 20, it worked just fine.
Even with the dead battery, it started after just two pulls. For $1000 and the electric start, it's well worth it! |
