 Not American Made

I purchased this unit to power my home in an emergency. I did not want a chinese made brand. While IMD may be an American company, the generator, gearbox and drive-shaft are all made in Italy. The only US part of the setup is the 3 point bracket. All this being said, Everything from the purchase, packing, delivery and assembly was flawless and easy. And it works superbly. My Kubota B2320 drives it easily, and it powers my whole house including my well pump. All in all I'm still quite happy.
