Q: Why is the honeywell 3000 HW3000 discontinued? Is there a problem with this generator?

A: Hi Greg,
Northshore Power Systems was the licensed partner to Honeywell for electric generators. That license expired and this specific model is no longer being produced. A newer model will be out in June from the new manufacturing partner.

Simple answer, there wasn't anything about the unit that was poorly made or otherwise that made the item discontinued.

 Runs & Produces Great Power

Got this generator a month ago and I really like it.

It runs power tools all day with some OT on a tank full. Power seems clean as well.
