Honda EM4000 - 3500 Watt Portable Generator with Electric Start

Purchased my generator to be ready for this summer, after 5 days with no electricity last year, courtesy of Hurricane Irene. It's all set up and ready to go whenever the power goes out. Nothing but good things to say about PED/EGD. Good website, great service. A shout out to Josh, who was very patient working with me to answer my questions and take my order over the phone.

Honda EM4000SX generator: it's everything I expected. Construction seems solid, easy starting, easy to understand controls. I was pleased to find the fuel shut off and sediment bowl, neither of which are mentioned on the site. My sole gripe is with the oil volume. The owner's manually just tells you "fill 'er up until the oil reaches the top of the hashed section on the dipstick" -- it gives no indication of roughly how much that should be. Ludicrous! (It's about 1 quart +/-)

08P57-Z25-500 cover: I like the reinforced wear section on the top and the strong elastic gather at the bottom. For the record, the cover does fit the EM4000 generators (as per the package and my experience), despite that model not being listed on the website's description.
