Loved the generator, not so hot about the $200. cart. EGD's price was in fine, but Honda?? Do they have no shame with their pricing?? For that price, it requires too many gyrations to install it. Flip the gen on it's side, shim a board under here, remove this cover, drain this thing.....don't forget to close this valve, don't do this or that..... I'm sure it rolls when it's all said and done, but I just paid $2000. for the generator! This should be a $50-$75 item and the damn thing should be plug and play. If you want to squeeze it into your trunk and keep it truly portable this is probably not for you, you'd have to go through removal process each time. It should've been designed to drop in place in a little prefab cart and be easily removed from the cart as well for that price. I grabbed a furniture dolly for $25 at Joe Depot and it works fine across a FLAT asphalt/concrete paver surface. The gen runs so smooth, I never took it off the dolly for four days. A Sparco folding platform truck for $35 with a handle will work great, if you need to roll it on soft turf though you may want to look for bigger wheeled transport. If you have deep pockets and have the room to transport the increased size the unit needs assembled then perhaps this product is for you, it didn't work for me.

This wheel kit has made transporting the Honda EU3000is generator very easy. Although it isn't really that heavy, it does have enough weight to cause back problems. I had to move the generator by shifting it side to side in a "walking" pattern. This new wheel kit fixes that problem. It was very easy to install.

The only issue I had was draining the carburetor. I didn't understand the directions at first. Also my gas tank had fuel in it and you need to turn the unit on it's side. Gas will leak out a little. DO NOT LEAVE GAS ON HONDA PAINT IT WILL DAMAGE THE FINISH. Consider draining fuel or running the generator until fuel is gone. It's good to get old fuel out anyways. Do an oil change while you are at it! In my opinion it is worth it's weight in gold. Buy it. You will be happy with how portable your generator can really be. Enjoy your power outages and natural disasters in style!
