Guardian Wireless Generator Monitoring Kit

I researched generators for several months and made a decision to purchase a 20K Generac Generator.

I wanted a 200 Amp switch so the model 5744 met all my requirements. I also purchased the wireless monitoring system so I could control the generator from inside my home.

I started to look for a qualified electrician and plumber to install my new toy. I got several quotes and they varied from $2K up to $10K to install and that was just electrical, I still need the gas to be plumbed.

I got 6 bids and finally found a local electrician and plumber that gave me an honest quote. The final installation cost for electric and plumbing came to about $2400.00 dollars.

I finally got my generator installed, tested and ready for action. I love the remote monitoring and it works great- I have the display sitting next to my bed for easy access.

We finally got to use our generator last week and it worked perfect: the power went off, the generator turned on for about four hours, and when the power came on it shut off. It worked great!
