My hats go off to the people who work for this company. I have never experienced such a high level of customer service in such a demanding time. I had been given the run around stories from other companies about when they would have generators in stock and I had bought one online from another company but a month later when it did not show up I canceled my order.

Bought Right Ahead Of Irene

I ordered the generator on Tuesday morning and got it this evening, which is Thursday. Talk about fast delivery. Unpacked it, read the directions, assembled it, added the oil, added the fuel, and she fired right up. So far so good.

The buying experience with Electric Generators Direct was great.

I'm betting that we will lose power for a week because of Irene, so this thing will get a really good test drive right out of the gates. I'll update this review after the storm to let everyone know how it worked.
