| Excellent service, callbacks & product from EGD |
| By Paul Bounds (Houston, TX) |
In preparation of the upcoming hurricane season, (I wasn't gonna get caught like last year when Hurricane Ike came through Houston) I contacted Electric Generators Direct.com.
Although I have ordered a ton of stuff online from EBAY, Amazon, and countless other online companies I was a bit apprehensive about ordering something as large and expensive as a generator.
The Customer Sales Representative said not to worry, they had been around a long time, sold 1000's of different products over the web, and had it shipped anywhere in the continental US.
So I placed my order, used my credit card and got the order confirmation, and I think by the end of the day I got an email from EGD with the shipper's info attached.
I contacted the shipper the next morning- they were super nice and professional, and they had forecast that the generator would arrive in Houston that following Monday. They said I could call their office locally and arrange for a time to have the delivery guy bring it by my home.
Monday came and I called the local office. The lady said it was on the truck, scheduled into Houston that afternoon, and they would get me on the delivery schedule for Tuesday morning.
Tuesday came and a huge lift gate truck arrived. The driver helped me get it on my two wheel dolly and I pulled it up the driveway. The driver hung around for a few minutes while I unboxed the generator and checked for any damages. (This was per instructions told to me by EGD sales rep.)
Although one corner of the box had a slight indentation, the generator was A-OK.
I just want to say that if you are looking for a top-notch American made generator, and a 1st Class generator reseller/distributor, you cannot go wrong in putting your trust and dollars into purchasing from Electric Generators Direct.com- they are great folks.
The shipping company they always use is another bunch of 1st Class, professional folks as well. |
