Q: We have a Coleman Powermate 6250. Will that work with this Gen Shed GS7500? Also, can I get an electrician to connect it into my circuit breaker box or can I only use the outlets provided manually?

A: Yes, this Gen Shed should work fine for your generator. It would be good to confirm the sizes prior to purchasing though.

Fits all generators less than 40"L x 28"W x 28"H

You can connect any portable generator to your circuit panel by using a manual transfer switch which properly disconnects you from the incoming utility and prevents back feeding. The following link is a list of some common kits you can purchase.

A: The Gen-Tran GenShed is the only outside enclosure that we offer that will work with portable generators. This model can accommodate generator sizes up to 7500 watts or sizes less then 40"L x 28"W x 28"H
