Q: Jim; Good Morning! on my Generator, I have a L14-30R receptacle that can be switched from 120V to 240V. I do not need to switch it to 240V. What I would like is an adapter that will plug into that L14-30R and the other end have a "Y", "W" or box with regular household receptacles in / on it. I think they are referred to as 5-20R. A: Model B12425DW is for a L14-20 type connection and would not work for your application. I would recommend either model PA0650193 or model D10425DW which has the proper connection (L14-30). The links below will show you pricing:
