 Reconditioned Coleman Powermate 5500 Watt Portable Generator Review

Here's the skinny on this one:

Last year, thousands of people bought generators from their local stores after the Hurricanes.

They used them during the power outage. When the power was restored, the generators were returned to the store for a refund.

Unethical? Absolutely.

Reality? Unfortunately.

Since the generators were technically used, Coleman can't resell them as new. They go back to the factory and get reconditioned. Kinda like a "certified pre-owned" car.

If you're looking for a very affordable, entry-level emergency generator, this one's perfect for you.
