Coleman Problems
I purchased one of these 2 12 years ago to power my truck cab while stopped so I wouldn't have to idle my truck engine. The first thing that broke was the on-off switch. The next thing that broke was the rubber pads that cushion the generator. Then the carburetor bolts came loose, tightened them up and then it quit completely. The head gasket blew out. Replaced that and then the generator quit making power. Found out it was the relay switch, so I installed a toggle switch instead and got it working again. Then it quit again, engine wouldn't turn over, the carbon had built up on the piston so it wouldn't clear the head. Had it completely overhauled by a friend that works on small motors. Used it for a while and now the generator doesn't make electricity again. I finally gave up on it. All this time, the gas tank mounting bolts were loose as the bolt hold-downs inside the upright pipes would turn, so I kept the tank down with a couple of rubber straps. The access to check, fill the engine oil is difficult to reach, they have 2, one on each side, but both are hidden very well, and almost impossible to access without taking off the plastic side cover. Mine did not generate 12 volt like this model does. The gasoline tank vent is constructed so that the first time it rains, water drains into the gas tank. I had a tarp-like cover made to cover the top to keep water out of the gas. The rewind rope didn't last too long either. The spot at which it comes through the plastic rubbed on the rope until it wore thin and broke.
Perhaps the conditions I encountered with the generator were more than it should be subjected to, but that is my story.
The model number is PMO401857 serial number is 98452068
I do not see the correct model number in your list, perhaps mine was discontinued.

Great generator
We had an incoming storm, so I bought one "just in case".
This little generator ran for 9 straight days, 24-7. We had it maxed out: furnace, freezer, frigerator, light, tv, etc... it powered everything and didn't miss a beat.
It ran for over 200 hours, and yes, I changed the oil. (I only wish it had a bigger gas tank.)
Most generators don't get a trial run like this, and it did just what it was supposed to.

Company has gone bankrupt (it pays to read the Reviews)
Buyer beware- the price is not reflecting the risk a buyer is taking based on the fact the company has gone bankrupt and there is no warranty with this product.
EGD RESPONDS: As soon as Coleman's bankruptcy was announced we attached a Review to every Coleman product we sell explaining that warranty service was no longer available- we also dropped the price!
It’s not for everyone, but it’s a great opportunity to get a quality generator at a very affordable price. We hope that you appreciate our honesty.

CRAPPY DESIGN!!!
My dad bought one of these for our business and when we were using it in the rain the water goes down in the gas tank through the cap and the vent because both places are set down in the tank and holt water until it soaks through and mixes with the gas and kills the motor. We got ours running again and drained the gas and now we have to cover it any time we use it in even a little bit of rain. Witch for almost 500 buck it should be a little bit weather proof, don't ya think, since they can't be ran inside anyways unless you want to die from carbon monoxide poisoning or whatever it's called. Anyway I just wanted to complain about it because I had to cover it when I used it to go camping one time and it was rediculous.
