A: You will need to consult with the owner's manual for proper the viscosity of oil required for this generator.

 The Last Power Outage

In September of 2011 I lost power for 7 days. I assured my family this would not happen again. I ordered a Briggs and Stratton 6000 watt generator from Electric Generators Direct. The generator arrived promptly and the trucker even took it off the truck and moved it into my garage. The assembly was quick.

Putting on the wheels, bracket, adding oil and gas took about 35 minutes. The generator started with one pull. I tested all of the AC outputs and they worked perfectly. I plan on installing a manual transfer switch for the generator. Electric Generators Direct exceeded my exp... more
