 The motor seized on 2nd use

I bought this and used it once for about 4 hours, then went to start it before winter and the motor seized.

Since it is 6 days past the 2 year warranty it is not covered. I will never buy anything with a Briggs & Stratton motor again.

EGD RESPONDS: Sitting idle is hard on an engine. We recommend regular maintenance, even if the generator is not being used often. Starting and running the unit for half an hour every three months with fresh gasoline and fuel stabilizer will make sure the generator is ready to go when it's needed.
